Fox News is pulling big ratings because they're critical of President Obama. They investigate, fact check and call attention to stories the other networks refuse to cover. In a time when the public so desperately needs gritty investigative journalism, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times and other print rags are busy defending Obama no matter what. The main stream media is in bed with the Obama administration - even worse than when Clinton was President. This is obvious to those who observe the different channels and read the newspaper.
The media has covered (for the most part) for Barack Obama since the beginning. The sad reality is that, if the media did its job, Obama probably wouldn't be President right now. If they reported on Obama's unsavory ties & affiliations since the beginning, McCain, as bad of a candidate as he was, would have won. President Obama is their golden cow.
Yet, in spite of the media's adoration of President Obama, his ratings continue to sink; thanks to Fox News and alternative media outlets, such as the Internet.
Until the main stream media starts covering legitimate stories, and holding the Obama administration accountable, Fox News will continue to smash them in the ratings department. To save face and credibility, eventually, they'll have to.
