President Obama Wins Nobel "Peace" Prize -- What!?

Now that is funny. Barack Obama, winning the Nobel "Peace" Prize for 2009. He hasn't accomplished anything of note, besides being elected President of the United States; which doesn't say a whole lot; this country elected George Bush twice. He won the prize, for what, being the first black President? What kind of accomplishment is that? The majority of white voters voted for Obama because he's black; the same is true of the black voters who voted for Obama. He was literally elected in the name of "making history." He was elected to the highest office in the name of affirmative action.

The only thing Barack Obama has accomplished is reading the teleprompter; even that he has problems with. He's flip-flopped on so many issues, lied, tripled the deficit in 9 short months, has dodgy associations (if the media actually did its job during the election, Obama wouldn't even be President right now), and got where he is today, because the media covered for him!

While I was trying to take in the absurdity of Barack Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize - not knowing whether to laugh or cry - and believe me, I still sometimes think it might be a practical joke played on us all - I soon learned that Obama was nominated for the Nobel, only 11 days into his Presidency! Are you kidding me? So basically, Obama was awarded the prize for his ideals - for his rhetoric - NOT for his actions.

The conspiracy theorist in me was saying that President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize after being slapped down by the IOC just a week before; too convenient I thought. Or because his approval ratings keep sinking lower. But upon finding out that Obama was nominated only 11 days after he took office, I retracted those thoughts and just chalked it up to more Obamania worship from extreme left-wing wackos.

There is another way to look at Obama getting the Nobel: Maybe he was awarded the Nobel "Peace" Prize so he has to take a different foreign policy stance against Iran; maybe the prize being awarded to Obama, is in effect, a way to influence America's hawk-like posturing against the middle east? It certainly would be smart; because the irony of Obama winning the "peace" prize is laughable, when we are fighting two wars, and are about to send an additional amount of troops into Afghanistan. Obama's rhetoric has made it clear in the past that he intends to focus our man-power and resources on winning the war in Afghanistan.

I doubt it though. I prescribe to the notion that it's Obamania that won him the award.

To the President's credit, he did seem somewhat shocked and 'humbled' that he won. I'm sure when he was first notified that he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, he let out a "WTF?" I know I did. As did many others.

Joe WIlson Was Right - Sort Of

Technically, Joe Wilson was right, when he yelled out, "You lie!" to President Obama, during his speech to Congress about illegal immigrants not getting free health care. And Technically, Barack Obama was right when he said that illegal immigrants will not be getting health care, if the/a health care reform bill passes. Obama is 'technically' right, in that illegal immigrants wont be able to get health care, because his idea, hinted at by his rhetoric, is to grant amnesty to the millions of illegal immigrants already occupying America.

Immigration reform will most likely be the President's next agenda to tackle. President Obama and the Democrats would like nothing more than to make illegal immigrants legal. In other words, the left, including Barack Obama, want to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants: This would be beneficial to the Democrats, because they would increase their voting bloc significantly. If Obama were to grant them amnesty, most Mexican-Americans would vote for the Democratic candidate - be it local political elections, Congress, or Presidential candidates who have a "D" beside their name.

Will President Obama be able to make the illegal immigrants in America legal? I'm not sure yet. But the last time I checked, most Americans, regardless of political affiliation, were against any form of amnesty.

The immigration reform debate in the upcoming months is going to create some tight spots for the President.

Michelle Obama Embellishment

I have to say, this is a poorly planned speech by Michelle Obama. Doesn't she have like 20 aides? Surely, one of them could have caught this embellishment before she delivered the speech, in front of the whole world. Did she not run this speech by one of Barack's people? Did Michelle Obama even write it? I guess we'll have to chalk this embellishment up as another Obama family curiosity, along with all of the other curiosities:

Liberal Persuasion Tactics On Political Forums

The rhetoric has died down a little in the last couple of weeks, but back when/before Obama gave his speech to Congress about health care reform, political message forums, such as Democratic Underground and The Hannity Forum, were set ablaze by newbie troll posters, sharing "heart felt personal stories" about the evils of the current health care system; basically, trying to sell President Obama's message of major health care reform, etc.

I check out a lot of political forums - but mainly, it was The Hannity Forum that was infested the most by liberal trolls trying to push Obama's message. I'm sure some of them were paid too, considering there were ads all over Craigslist for paid bloggers/posters to "help Obama." If you look around, I'm sure you'll see them on different websites (especially Craigslist). I didn't get mad reading their threads and "heart felt personal stories," as much as I got entertainment out of the whole ordeal. Most were god awful in that they absolutely sucked at sounding sincere. Most of them also tried to come across as Independents.

Anyway, speaking of Independents, there are a lot of idiots on political forums who pretend they're Independents/middle of the road posters, but mysteriously, these "Independents" usually side with Obama's ideals when debating certain subjects. I've seen it time and time again. Quite frankly, it's annoying. These are the kind of posters who like to make it seem as though they are non-partisan. Give me a break. Crap or get off the pot. These morons are usually leftists disguised as middle of the road folks. Don't buy their crap!

Not that these peoples' tactics are effective - they're not - I just find it pathetic and annoying. I have more respect for full blown libtards who present their case, instead of the posters pretending to be one thing, when they're clearly another.

Obama Is An Arrogant Fool & Liberals Are Delusional

President Obama is an arrogant fool who can appropriately be labeled a narcissist; he's someone who thinks the world evolves around him. Barack Obama inflates his importance - at least that's the image he portrays with his speech and body language. A good example would be Obama's recent trip to Copenhagen, where he gave a speech to the IOC on why he thought Chicago should host the 2016 Olympics. The whole speech oozed with self importance - as if the IOC should grant Chicago the right to host the Olympics because President Obama had the audacity to show up. President Obama came across as though he were demanding the IOC to obey his request. The speech was an embarrassment in my opinion; it had to do with Barack and Michelle more so than it did with America & Chicago.

President Obama has always come across as an egotistical, holier than thou, jerk. In every speech that I've ever seen Obama give, he presents himself as though he's angry; like he's demanding something. His handlers should tell Obama to cool it on his angry facial expressions, and make him aware of his snooty, nose in the air, elitist 'magnetism' he seeps, with every TV appearance. It certainly isn't doing him any favors with the right - we do not look at Obama like he's a God. It would benefit Hussein Obama, if he appeared more humble.....words can't express how humorous I think the irony is of Obama vs. the world paradox; here is President Obama, probably the most arrogant President the United States has ever had, trying to make the country 'humble' before the world, constantly apologizing for the nation that elected him President. Ironic, hypocritical and sad. Just what you would expect from an empty suit liberal.

10 months into Obama's Presidency, and the moonbats on the left are still at awe with Obama's 'charisma' and speeches. They say Obama is at his best when he is persuading opposition. Ha - you mean, like, the IOC? Iran? Dissidents in the United States who do not trust him? Me?

The fact of the matter is, Obama has never been a good speaker. He's good at reading a teleprompter and looking angry and arrogant - demanding even - but not at speaking off the cuff. He's not even charismatic like the liberals exclaim. He's robotic. He's dull. The liberals are the one's who propped their God up - they are the one's setting the bar so high that expectations will not be met. And THEY are the one's who keep inflating Obama's ego.

Liberals are delusional. Hopefully, they, along with their God, will come back down to reality, after Obama was slapped down by the IOC and the world.

Note to liberals: Obama is everything that you claim him to be - in your own perverted reality - but not to the rest of the world. Obama's nothing more than a politician.

The Democrats Of The Present Are Nothing Like The Democrats Of Old

I think it's safe to say the Democrat party was taken over by far left wing nuts and socialists. The Democrats of today are nothing like your Mom's and Dad's Democrats. The leaders of the Democrat party, like Pelosi, Obama, Clinton, Dodd, Frank, etc., cannot be compared to leaders like JFK; the present day Liberals are nothing like JFK and are far to the left in their ideology.

There has been a lot of talk these last few years about the Republican party being hi-jacked by neocons - and that may be. But if that's the case, the Democratic party was most certainly hi-jacked by radical progressives.

I can remember a time (and I'm not that old), when the Democrats stood for the working man - or at least gave the impression that they were for the blue collar working man. They successfully crafted the image in the mind's of a lot of Americans as being the party representing the common man. That isn't the case today.

Today, the Democrat party is perceived as being elitist trolls. And they are. If you need an example, look no further than last year and how they treated an effing plumber, from Ohio, for expressing his views. Look no further than Nancy Pelosi - a progressive from San Fransisco, who pretends she is for the middle class, yet is completely out of touch with regular, every day working Americans. This woman used to take private jets from Washington to California, before she was exposed for being the hypocrite that she is, a few years ago. Need another example? Look at Barack and Michelle Obama. Talk about being out of touch with Americans - these two have their own chefs flown in from St. Louis for God's sake! There are many more examples of Michelle's and Barack's hypocritical ways, like talking about sacrifice while the two of them take separate jets to Copenhagen, costing the tax payers millions in the process - or ordering hundred dollar steaks - but you get the point.

Today's Democrat party are filled with hardcore progressives. Today's Democrat party are filled with hypocritical elitists - and they are nothing like the Dems of old. The new age Liberals who control the Democrat party are the worst of the lot, because they preach about social justice, while they sit in their million dollar mansions; they talk about diversity and tolerance, while they live in gated, almost exclusively white communities. The Liberals in control of the Democrat party today like to claim they represent the common man/working man, but they DO NOT. And the voters who continually vote these idiots into power are brain dead sheep.
